WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator JD Vance (R-OH) issued a public response to an open letter from Michal Strnad, CEO and owner of the Czechoslovak Group (CSG), concerning CSG’s acquisition of Vista Outdoor’s sporting product business. In his letter, Senator Vance challenges CSG to attest publicly to its full and complete disclosure to all relevant U.S. regulatory bodies.
In January, Senator Vance sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen to request a CFIUS review of the sale on national security grounds.
